Laura Linney

Laura Linney, born February 5th, 1964 in New York, New York U.S.A. She is an American actress who is known for her portrayal of tough, yet vulnerable character. Linney was born into a theatre-loving family. Her father, Romulus Linney was a writer. Linney graduated at Brown University in 1986 and then went on to study at the Arts Theatre School in Moscow as well as graduated in the Juilliard School (M.F.A.) New York City 1990. She immediately began performing on Broadway eventually earning praise for her performances as Hedda Gabler in Six Degrees of Separation and Hedda Gabler.
