Anna Maria Chlumsky was born in the United States. She started acting at a young age and was a household name for her role as Vada sultenfuss, as seen in My Girl and My Girl 2 (both films). Following her early roles she was off the market between 1999 and 2005 in order to go to the college of her choice.
