
Harvey started his career as a comedian. He appeared in stand-up comedy shows during the mid-80s. He also hosted Showtime at the Apollo and The Steve Harvey Show on The WB. The show was then re-released as The Original Kings of Comedy after starring in the Kings of Comedy Tour. Harvey last appeared on stand-up comedy in the year 2012. Harvey hosts Both Family Feud and Celebrity Family Feud, holding this role from 2010. Harvey is also host on Little Big Shots, Little Big Shots Forever Young as well as Steve Harvey's Funderdome. Harvey is an author and has published four books including the bestseller Act Like a Lady Think Like a Man. Steve Harvey Global is an entertainment and media company which includes East 112 as well as various other businesses. Harvey started Family Feud in Africa and was a shareholder in Anthem Sports and Entertainment in the HDNet purchase. His wife Marjorie founded The Steve and Marjorie Harvey Foundation A non-profit foundation that focuses on youth education. Harvey is an eight-time Daytime Emmy Award winner, two-time Marconi Award winner, and a 14-time NAACP Image Award winner in various categories.
